The temperature in Redlands was predicted to be in the 110's over labor day weekend so, I decided to spend the holiday at the beach. There was a tropical storm off the coast but the surf was still just over chest on occasion. It was pretty powerful though. I got tossed around more than a few times and by the end of the weekend I was pretty beat up. But VERY satisfied. The water wasn't too cold, even without a wet suit. It never ceases to amaze me how in California the waves line up...break relatively evenly, and come in sets.

The Redlands Festival of Arts is larger than the Redlands Art Walk Festival, but its a bit more contemporary. Not as much my style. I did enjoy myself. I had a great pulled pork sandwich from a place in Mentone (I can't remember the name of it, but Mentone is so small, that anyone interested should surely be able to find it easily). I had a Ritual Red beer and listened to music. The music was either more folk or 1960's whereas the Art Walk is often more mixed,.. well more rock. I would have expected more of a heavy metal scene because of the car show down State Street.

Hangar 24 is a local brewery here in Redland's California. Their beer is, ...(well, in my opinion,...its, "okay"). But, the people are always nice and I like the yearly air-show. There is a small municipal airport about 2 miles outside of town.

I started working on a game called Thnog and Jeff in like..I dunno, the early 2000's. The original version was built using the original Game Maker by Mark Overmars. I had several variants that even eventually moved to 3D.

The Redland's Classic is a 5-day bicycle racing competition in Redland's, Highland and Yucaipa. Apparently this is not some little event. Cyclist's from around the world come here to compete.

Way back in the late 1990's or early 2000's I created some installation manuals for a line of industrial monitors called the BeeHive series.  I also created a logo, some other graphics and Flash animations. The worst thing about this early work is that I have lost so much of it. I would especially like to still have some of the Flash animations. 

I am pretty sure I still have the installation manuals in PDF form somewhere one of my old machines. I will simply have to dig.
